Jeunet's MICMACS

Brilliant, fantastical, rich and alive. Micmacs' satire and irony shine through even with the language barrier, which I so regretted, sure that the nuance of language was every bit as smart as the visuals.  A true art film in every sense, Micmacs elicited laugh after laugh and was perfectly delightful. A savory meal for eyes and wit, Jeunet has done it again. City of Lost Children and Amelie are my other favorites by this director.
